SHARONVILLE, Ohio – Todd Beamer, owner of Beamer’s Piggyback Sales & Service, Sharonville, was recently honored with a Patriot Award by Ohio Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). ESGR is a Defense Department office, operating in all states and territories, which aids and recognizes organizations with employees serving in the US military.
The tempo of military operations for reservists recently has meant far more separation and hardship than traditionally is expected of them, and thus more hardship and sacrifice for their civilian employers.
The Patriot Award honors those employers who have shared this sacrifice with outstanding support and encouragement, above that required by law.
Founded in 2002, Beamer’s Piggyback® is a full service Truck Repair and Fabrication facility, offering service trucks fully stocked for hydraulic hose replacement and on-site equipment repair. They produce reconditioned piggybacks and custom built flatbeds & bodies, and are also a distributor for Princeton Delivery Systems.
Beamer was nominated for this award by Don Beavers, a Beamer employee and Army National Guard member. Beamer was cited for his strong support of the U.S. military, in general, and for his particular support to Beaver’s family while Don was deployed to Afghanistan.
ESGR Representative Bob Degroff presented the Award to Beamer at the company offices Oct. 21. Beamer was further commended for leading a strong team effort in support of his military employees.
